By now you have received a rubric for persuasive writing. The emphasis is on a claim that has clear reason and evidence to support. Sometimes you have to research and focus on the opposite side of your point to draw closer to it. Either the Map diagram is due; one topics and three subtopics. If you want to work further think of your reasoning and the details of the evidence to support it.

Problems discussed Wednesday will be due 3/2/18 (7th graders). Good day parents, I am writing to inform you that your child will be going through conferences this week about their performance in the
Middle of the Year NWEA test. This includes English Language Arts and Math. They will be bringing home their score sheet and a metric that ranks their performance with the grade level they achieved to. Note that Reading and Math have subcategories that we are using to develop lesson plans and out of class work. If you have any questions feel free to email me at [email protected]. We are working on the second semester, third quarter. Grades will coming home this Friday February 9th! Take care, Mr. Florell Today, 2/1/18 is the end of the quarter. Tomorrow 2/2/18 is a non attendance day. It is a professional development day for the teaching staff. 2/19 is Presidents day, and March 26- 3/30 is Spring Break!
