In social news, Ms. Thole is engaged to be married! Let's all congratulate her on her future nuptuals.
Things to come: Mr. Florell will be supporting a project for our students to find their heritage through Ancestry.com. Please wish it well as he negotiates for a less expensive cost to have our 8th grade students find where their DNA will take them too! We are calling it Project Identity. Our identity is shaped by many external things, but we can find empowerment in where our ancestors are from. Please contribute on DonorsChoose. There will be periods where they will match contributions. Wouldn't it be great to support our 8th graders in an empowering study into their pasts.
